Sadio Mane injured during his team's meeting with Cape Verde..Liverpool comment on Mane's injury
Senegalese star Sadio Mane was taken to hospital, after he sustained a severe injury, after a violent collision with the Cape Verde goalkeeper during the match that brought the two teams together at the "Quekong" stadium, in the round of 16 competitions of the African Nations Cup.
In the 52nd minute of the match, a violent collision occurred between Cap Verde goalkeeper Josemar Fosinha and the star Sadio Mane, which prompted the match referee to decide to expel Josemar after he saw that he violently interfered with the Liverpool star, Senegalese "Sadio Mane".
It is reported that earlier in the match, Patrick Andrade, a player for the Cape Verde team, was sent off after it was found that he violently interfered with the Senegalese player, Pape Guy, which forced Cap Verde to complete the match with nine players.

Liverpool Football Club, through its official page on Twitter, wrote: "Super Sadio to the quarter-finals of the African Cup of Nations 2021, Mane scored the first goal against Cape Verde in a wonderful way and then came out injured, we wish him a speedy recovery."
