What is scoliosis?
It is a deformity, arising from a lateral curvature in the shape of the spine، and the receding of the rib cage, so that its space becomes narrow.

🔹Left lumbar scoliosis
Scoliosis causes:
It seems that the main cause of scoliosis is not completely clear to doctors, but there are some factors and causes that may contribute to the appearance of scoliosis and curvature of the spine.
Among these reasons:
🔹Wrong deformation of the spine, during the birth process.
🔹The spine is exposed to external injuries, which may lead to its curvature.
🔹Undergoing wrong surgeries in the back and spine area.
🔹The presence of some neurological or muscular diseases, such as cerebral palsy and muscular dystrophy.
🔹The presence of genetic factors and causes.
Visible signs and symptoms of scoliosis:
Scoliosis sufferers often have difficulty standing or sitting comfortably, as well as feeling tired while walking and moving, as a result of the curvature of the spine, and in some cases, a scoliosis sufferer may have difficulty breathing, due to the narrowing of the Rib cage.
This is in addition to the appearance of visible signs in the patient.
🔹The appearance of a side protrusion in the chest and back area.
🔹Appearance shoulders and waist lopsided.
🔹Unbalanced hips, so that one appears higher than the other.
Scoliosis treatment:
There is no definitive and effective treatment for this condition, but it is possible to undergo some things that would relieve the visible symptoms and prevent its development, including:
🔹Do light exercise, such as swimming.
🔹Do yoga and relaxation exercises.
🔹Wearing stents that work on back and spine orthotics.
🔹resort to surgical intervention.
